What a Great Experience! My Wife and I took a 2-hr morning ride with our host Nancy and enjoyed every moment. From the quick but informative review of riding basics, followed by a relaxing ride on our well trained and mannered horses (Zoe & Dutchess), to the down home conversation along the way, Nancy was a super host. We will be back for further rides and have no hesitation recommending WPRS to others.

My husband surprised me with a two hour horseback riding trip for our 27th anniversary. I was super excited! Nancy was the greatest host, very knowledgeable, sweet and kind. We will definitely be back sooner than later. I would highly recommend using Nancy for your horseback riding experience. Thank you again Nancy for sharing your beautiful horses with us!!!!

I what to go so bad

August 10, 2023. Today, my husband and I took a morning ride with Nancy. We felt very welcomed the moment we arrived. Nancy was very friendly and fun. She helped us to feel very comfortable on the horses before we went out on our ride. The horses were beautiful, loved and very well taken care of. Our ride was so fun and relaxing. We even got the horses trotting pretty good. It wasn't your typical head to tail trail ride. We were able to ride beside each other at times, guide our own horse, and enjoy the moment. It was so fun! Nancy is very personable, friendly and funny. We felt very comfortable the whole time. She also took her time after our ride to talk with us about the horses. It is well worth the money for a 2 hour horseback riding experience. If we come back to this area, we are certainly going to go riding with Nancy again. It was such a great way to start our day and end our vacation. Thank you Nancy for a great experience!

Great ride that was not a “nose to tail” trail ride. The owner guards against that being the expectation for the horses, so they are sensitive to your guidance as to where you want them to go. Horses jogged often but beginners in our group were coached and seemed to enjoy it. 2 hours was a nice time frame.

We had a great ride. It was not you regular trail ride were the horses line up 1 behind the other and walk the trail that they have remembered. We even did some trotting that had always not be allowed on any other ride I have ever been on. I would highly recommend western pleasure horseback riding

My 13 year old daughter and I had a great experience with Nancy’s stable. We were staying in Destin for a week and were looking for a place to go horseback ridings.
Nancy is a down to earth person with a good sense of humor and the horses were just sweethearts!

What a fabulous time for anyone! We had riders that were very experienced to some with no experience and all of us had an enjoyable fun ride. The horses were great and well taken care of and Nancy the owner is down to earth and spent time riding beside each of us talking to us getting in some laughs. The price is fair for any budget, you can't beat it!

There were four of us and my niece who is 5. She absolutely loved riding her horse in the ring and she even got to hold the reigns herself which meant the world to her! Nancy (the owner) is very busy since Arnett’s Horseback Riding closed so make sure you give her a call a few days ahead. Well worth the wait though! Beautiful ride, beautiful horses, great instructor!

My daughters and I were in Florida last month on vacation. We decided to do some horse back riding while we were there. What a fun time. Great horse's & the prices were very reasonable. Also Nancy was great.

This place is so much fun!! The horses were gentle and the owner gave us the trail ride and she's very nice! She got to know us and didn't just take pictures of us on the horses, she videoed us riding them so we could see we were doing it! It was so cool and so much fun!

We had a great time at Western Pleasure Riding Stables! Nancy is a really sweet lady and the horses are well behaved. It had been a long time since some of us rode and we even had some first timers but Nancy was great and very patient with us. She took video and pictures of us and sent them to us. She even provide water bottles already on our sables incase we got thirsty (that was pretty awesome of her) We will definitely be returning. You can't beat the price either

I just want to say hands down best place to experience a safe ride on a horse. The owner is very knowledgeable and knows her horses. If you never rode a horse before or you have you will be very comfortable regardless. My family and I will be making this a routine visit. Whats nice about the place is it feels like home. Its country as can be.

My family of 6 had a wonderful experience. Some of us had never been on a horse. The owner gave us detailed instructions and tips with each individual horse. Great place to ride!! Very reasonable priced for a long ride! I even showed up late due to both an accident on the highway and my GPS took me the wrong way and they waited for me!! Such an amazing experience for my family of many different experience levels. First time riders and experienced. Ages ranged from 10-63 years old and we all loved it! MY boyfriend and I rode Saturday with Nancy. It was our first time riding ever. She was patient with me and big on making sure I had it down pack before taking me on the trail. Once I was comfortable we sped up the pace of the horses. Hey, I even became the leader lol. She have great conversations and was an awesome conversation keeper. If you can try to get her on trail by herself, she has great advice especially for young women! Looking forward to coming to the area again. Riding with Nancy was awesome!

On Feb 10,2018 .. my daughter and I and my granddaughter went for a wonderful ride with Nancy and her beautiful horse's .. My granddaughter had never rode a horse by her self and Nancy was very patient and awesome with her and tether her on the 5 mile ride.. This was a birthday present for her.. and she loved it.. We will definitely be visiting The stables again .. it was very pleasurable relaxing.. again thank you.. my daughter will definitely be telling other people about these stables and tell them to go there.

We had a great time riding with Nancy today! She was able to accommodate 6 riders from advanced to beginner. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the ride. Nancy is as very straight forward and looked out for the safety of our group. We hope to come back next year.

Had a wonderful experience here with my daughter. The trail was gorgeous and the horses had personalities. Our tour guide was very accommodating and the entire ride was better than I had imagined. I was pleasantly surprised at what a great bargain it was and thrilled that it was not as touristy as all of the other attractions in the area. Will definitely go back next time I'm in the area.

It is more relaxed, more group focused and way more personable than most trail riding experiences. If you are looking for a great horseback riding experience, I would highly recommend Western Pleasure Riding Stable. The trails are great and unlike other trail rides, this is not a typical single file line, follow the horse in front of you experience. It it more relaxed, comfortable and allows for easy conversations as you ride side by side with your fellow riders: easily shifting from one rider to another. We took the two hour ride as a family group of four and had the most enjoyable time. Having been on many other trail rides previously, this was by far one of the best we've been on. I would suggest this place over others to any novice or experienced rider of any age and believe you and your group will have an excellent time, as we did!

This is how every riding experience should be. The owner is amazing and clearly loves these horses. You get some great pictures with this ride as well. These horses have such great personality and well taken care of! My daughter and I love riding and this will be included in our vacation every time we go. Look forward to our next visit!

We rented a home in Destiny West & found Western Pleasure online. We had 5 riders who were all beginners & we all had a blast! Owner takes the time to allow every rider to feel comfortable on horse before the 2 hour trail ride. Loved all the wooded areas, it was a peaceful & relaxing ride. My husband and I had a great time! This was our first experience riding a horse. Nancy was extremely patient as she could tell I was extremely nervous. She explained everything we needed to know and made sure we were comfortable with the horses prior to starting the ride. The trail ride was two and a half hours and five miles. It is a great place to ride if you want a more personal experience. We will definitely be going back the next time we are in Destin. Thanks for such a memorable experience!!!!

Went on a spur of the moment decision with my wife and son and we all had a great time.
We all enjoyed the trail and the guide was very accommodating and talked to us all to make sure we were doing ok throughout the whole ride, which I know helped my wife's nerves tremendously.
Be ready to be sore at the end of the ride if this is not something you are used to.
Worth the trip and every penny we spent.

If you have some experience, she'll let you cantor ahead a bit and have some fun. Very safety conscience if you have kids. And, compared to others in town, very affordable. Best part, Nancy took about 40 pics that she forwarded to us the next day. That extra step was appreciated.

As of 07/30/2010, this stable is OPEN! You will be glad you called this stable. The rides are about 2 hours long and the price is reasonable. Pony rides for the kids. You will need to call to make a reservation and to get directions. The ride goes through some woods, some meadows, across a creek...beautiful! Thanks for a wonderful morning.
